Fluzone Intradermal’s FDA-approved microneedle delivery system features an ultra-fine needle that is 90 percent shorter than the typical needle used for intramuscular injection. There is no preparation required as each prefilled syringe is ready to use, with an affixed microneedle (30-gauge), with no need for air purging.

Fluzone Intradermal vaccine is an inactivated influenza virus vaccine indicated for active immunization of people aged 18 through 64 years against influenza disease caused by influenza virus subtypes A and type B contained in the vaccine.
